About the Author
Robert N. Lussier is Professor of Management at Springfield College, USA. He has 400 publications, including management area textbooks and articles published in Academy Entrepreneurship Journal, Business Horizons, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, and others. He is a Fellow of the Small Business Institute.
Joel Corman is Professor Emeritus at Suffolk University, USA, and a three-time entrepreneur. He has also been published in top tier journals. He has consulted with over 25 small businesses, and currently conducts small business consulting for the Executive Service Core (ESC) and Service Core Of Retired Executives (SCORE).
David C. Kimball is Chair of the Division of Business at Elms College, USA. He is the Elms College faculty representative to the Grinspoon Entrepreneurship Initiative.

Decent read

If I were able to, I'd rate this text a 3.5/5 but ultimately decided on rounding down because I was a bit disappointed in the overall clarity and effectiveness of the text.
This was one of the few textbooks where I left without feeling like I learned a whole lot. There were many excellent sources shared throughout the book, but more was needed.
The flow of the book wasn't very smooth -- the writing styles of the authors didn't ovelap well. However, the text was easy to comprehend. The outline of the book I thought was nice, which made up for some of the other shortcomings.
Overall it wasn't a bad read. Many points shared in previous texts were shared in the text, with the authors putting their own spin on them (which isn't a bad thing). The graphs, tables, figures, etc were well constructed which is always helpful. With all that said, I simply feel I should have gotten a bit more out of the text.
